Custom Google Search Engines
Filed under the "How do they make money" category, Google has released Google Co-op custom search engines. This allows you to create a search engine with various filters automatically in place. Consider this simple ColdFusion one. I set it up to search House of Fusion, my blog, and MXNA, but to not limit itself to just those sites. Google also lets you turn on AdSense (ahem, which I did of course), customize the colors, add it to your home page, etc. Pretty interesting.

Talk about Internet speed!
I read about this from Good Morning Silicon Valley, and the next email is from Ray Camden talking about how he's setup a site!

Just posted my cfsearch site.
http://www.cfhunt.com
I am looking to promote (at no cost) some open source projects, so I would like people to visit my blog and post suggestions, send ads for their OS, etc.

I will be adding sites over the course of the day.
