Happy Release Day

Hey, buddy. Yeah, you. You wanna some new releases? How about...

BlogCFC 5.7.001 - Includes updated RSS and Search code

Canvas 2 - Yes. Finally. Includes... um, a whole lot of stuff. It still doesn't have an upgrade script for 1.5, but I'm not the first person to release a delayed project out of just pure frustration. Mark Mazelin gets credit for 99% of Canvas 2. He was done months ago. This is my fault.

Harlan 1.0.4 - The ColdFusion Ad Server so poorly written it sends people to PHP!

Lighthouse Pro 2.3.004 - This is just a minor bug fix.

This is why I have nicknamed you "The Machine". haha :)

"so poorly written it sends people to PHP!"

Hah! I wonder how long it will take for me to live that one down. :)

Ray, any chance we might get a *slightly* more detailed description of Canvas' changes that amplifies "Everything"? A short bullet list is all I would need...if you can...many, many thanks.

I finally got around to installing the latest version of blogcfc (5.7.001). I'm in the process of skinning it now. I have two questions for you: 1) I see that the version of the blog that you're using generates xhtml 1.0 strict code. The version that I installed seems to generate html 4.0 transitional code. Do I need to edit all the templates and code myself to fix this, or is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing? 2) Are there any other 3rd-party pods available for blogcfc? A list of them with links somewhere would be really great.

Thanks for the really great blog code.

1) My blog here isn't a stock blogcfc install.

2) Go to my forums. There is a conference just for pods.

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me exactly what I have to do generate xhtml 1.0 code, or do I just need to figure it out for myself?
# Posted By Randy Martin | 4/25/07 8:22 PM
You will need to figure out yourself. :) My HTML skills are a bit lacking.

OK. I'll get the code modified and send it to you. I'm going to be out of the country until the end of May, so it may be June sometime before I get this done.

Does anyone have the Aura layout working with the latest version of blogCFC? If so, can you share your code?

Thanks.
