Pardon me for a moment while I jump up and down in joy... the first CFWACK arrived today via Fedex...
If it looks slim - it is. Hard to believe that's almost 600 pages there. Here is the Vader approved version:
As I said - pardon this waste of space - but the WACK this time around was difficult to write - so I'm more than just a little bit happy to see this puppy in my hands.

My first thought when I saw the "Vader approved" version was, "Wow, it really is smaller this time..." Then I figured out that that must be one of the giant Pez, not the normal sized one.

Congratz! Still checking the local bookstores. CFWACK8 isn't even in the Borders system yet . . . when I do a search for Forta I just get the 7 version, and when I do a search for your name nothing shows up (I think).
That's kinda sad - this is like my 8th or 9th book or so. I did a few of the Mastering CF books, a Developers Guide to CF, a Spectra book, and the lst CFWACK series. How can I be unknown!!?!? :)

Okay . . . so sue me, I'm wrong. Just went to Borders.com and got 44 hits for "Raymond Camden" (btw, Allaire Spectra E-Business Construction Kit comes up second). CFWACK8 does show up as pre-order. Later on I plan to stop by the Borders bookstore and I'll doublecheck there.
Whew. So I do exist. Nice. :)
